Acquisition of Unipack Packaging
Busy Bees Packaging is proud to announce the recent acquisition of one of its main competitors, the Unipack Packaging company. This transaction is in line with the current growth strategy of Busy Bees Packaging; the acquisition of a competitor possessing important expertise in the field of packaging will allow Busy Bees to offer even more to its clients.
Unipack has been operating in the packaging industry for more than 15 years. The company’s expertise is featured with packaging such as shrink wrapping, blister packaging, crating, kit assembly, sleeve wrapping and the building of displays. This recent acquistion will allow Busy Bees Packaging to expand its range of services. In this way, capacity will expand with new production lines added, and a majority of Unipack’s staff will be transfered to Busy Bees Packaging.
Among other things, clients will notice a new optimization of the sleeve wrapping service added to Busy Bees Packaging’s services. This service will now be automated to a large degree.
Busy Bees Packaging welcomes to its staff, among others, Ryan Lussier, who will work on business development. The gradual transfer of current Unipack clients to Busy Bees Packaging will be facilitated by his expertise in customer relations and his broad knowledge of ongoing projects.
